For families and groups of friends. There are 9 houses for 4 to 10 guests, each with a pool, a fully equipped kitchen and a veranda, plus access to the services of Vila dos Orixás Boutique Hotel.

On Praia do Encanto (also called Fifth Beach), in Morro de São Paulo, municipality of Cairu, Bahia. It is the island's last and best-preserved beach, about 25 minutes by taxi from the village center.

There are 9 vacation houses, each for 4 to 10 guests: Mainha (5 suites, up to 10); São Jorge, do Encanto, Borogodó and Dendê (4 suites, up to 8); Tucano (3 suites, up to 6); Bamba and Papagaio (2 suites, up to 4); and Axé (2 suites, up to 5, the only one with an extra bed).

Each suite sleeps 2 guests, and each house's maximum capacity is its number of suites multiplied by 2. Axé is the only house with an extra bed and sleeps up to 5.

For 9 or 10 guests, Mainha (5 suites). For 7 or 8, São Jorge, do Encanto, Borogodó or Dendê (4 suites each). For 5 or 6, Tucano (3 suites) or Axé (up to 5, with an extra bed). Yes. Each house's maximum capacity includes children, because there are no extra beds or mattresses. Axé already has an extra bed, included in its capacity of 5 guests.

Yes. The houses have a fully equipped kitchen open to the living room. Mainha, Axé, do Encanto and Dendê also have their own barbecue area. Suites have air conditioning.

Yes. You can have breakfast at the hotel, lunch at the Beach Club (11 am to 5 pm), dinner at the Sal restaurant (6 pm to 10 pm, reserved by 5 pm), book the Spa Nagô and arrange tours of the island, such as the natural pools. The gym (open 24 hours), the hotel pool and the spa relaxation area (pool and sauna, 9 am to 6 pm) are accessed with the Vila Pass.

The Vila Pass is an extra service that gives access to the hotel gym (open 24 hours) and pool and, at the spa (9 am to 6 pm), the relaxation pool and sauna. It costs R$ 85 per person per day. Only guests who will use it need to buy it, but each person must buy the pass for every day of the stay. It is not available for children.

Yes, with the Vila Pass (R$ 85 per person per day, for every day of the stay; not available for children). Without the pass, use of the hotel pool is not included. Every Orixás Residence house has its own pool.

No. Breakfast is served at the hotel for R$ 120 per person per day and must be booked by 6 pm the day before. Children up to 5 eat free, ages 6 to 10 pay R$ 60 and ages 11 and up pay full price.

The taxi ride on arrival and the one on departure carry no extra cost. The arrival taxi leaves from the Second Beach reception point. Arrival and departure times must be sent at least 24 hours ahead, and the front desk books the transfer. During the stay, taxis are charged separately: about R$ 120 per ride, for up to 8 people, in roughly 25 minutes. You can also use the Vila dos Orixás shuttle, at R$ 10 per person per trip, subject to seat availability and advance booking with the Front Desk.

Yes. Tell us your arrival time at least 24 hours ahead, and the front desk books the transfer. Your departure time must also be sent 24 hours ahead. Guests arriving by plane must also give the airline and the airstrip. Guests arriving by catamaran must get off at the Second Beach reception point, where the taxi departs. The village of Morro de São Paulo is pedestrian-only, with no cars.

Yes. Bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned regularly, with bed and bath linen changed.

No. Pets are not allowed on the premises.

Through the Market and Bar & Resto on the website: drinks, ice, toiletries and ready-made combos for caipirinhas, gin and tonics and barbecue. Orders are delivered at check-in or during your stay, at the time you choose. You can also shop at local stores, and some deliver. Orders placed by 3 pm are delivered the same day; after 3 pm, the next day.

From Salvador, the most common route is the catamaran to Morro de São Paulo (about 2h30) or a flight followed by a ground transfer. Guests arriving by catamaran get off at the Second Beach reception point, where the included taxi departs, and guests arriving by plane tell us the airline and the airstrip. The ride to Praia do Encanto takes about 25 minutes, and arrival and departure times must be sent 24 hours ahead so the front desk can book the transfer.
